Getting more detail about recorded episodes.

Is it possible to get more information about an episode of a series that I've recorded?  Currently the most I can see is an episode number.  With my TiVo, I can see the Season, episode within the season, and date the episode originally aired.  It would be great if Cox would give me the same options...

What IPG are you using? TRIO tells you many things, such as date the episode aired, the episode name, etc.

I'm guessing "IPG" is "Interactive Program Guide", right?  And yes, "info" does give me more details, but especially for older programs, it doesn't tell me what season the particular episode is from, or when it was originally broadcast.  I like to record many episodes of old series like House or Bones, for example, and watch them in the sequence in which they were originally broadcast.  Since they are frequently broadcast on several channels, knowing what season they belong to makes my viewing much more enjoyable.  Cox techs frequently ask why I have both TiVo and Cox Whole Home DVR.  This is one of the reasons...

I never (rarely) record repeat episodes. Any information such as "what season", or the order of the episodes in an earlier season, I get from http://epguides.com/ . For example, L&O: SVU would be at http://epguides.com/LawandOrderSVU/ .

Obviously there are ways to get the information I'm looking for, but with TiVo I get it directly from the recording, with Cox I need to do additional research.  The information is somehow embedded within the program, my request was for Cox to make it available online...
