Forced to reset router

Multiple times a day I lose internet connection and the only solution seems to be to reset my router. This immediately resolves the issue but it is very impractical to do this multiple times a day every day. Is there an issue with my router? This has been going on for a few weeks.

What router do you have? When you lose the connection, do the lights on the modem change at all? On the router?

I have the DCI382R model. None of the lights change that I have noticed.

Can't find any info on a DCI382R. What brand is it?

When the problem occurs, can you ping the router? Windows Key + R > CMD > Ping 192.168.0.1 or what ever your network is.
