equipment

The cable box that I have is a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 3250 HD and the remote is a TAD-2003.  How do I access any "on demand" features or do I need different equipment?

Nothing comes up when I google TAD-2003 but if its anything like this remote its not going to work. Didn't the cable box come with it's own remote?

Cox had a THAD-2000 series of remotes, but I have NO idea if that is what he had. I would try the "MENU" button, or perhaps channel 1.

safest way on any manufacturers remote is to press the numbers 001
