Email Setup

I have set up my Cox email account, but I get the error message each time I open.  This is on my XP - Windows 8 - iPhone - iPad and Nook.

I use POP3 for incoming mail server - mail,cox.net - smtp.cox.net  (For my iPhone and iPad the setting is IMAP)

I have POP3  showing 995 - SMTP showing 465 - Requires SSL connection

Is this correct?  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Not greatly computer knowledgeable.

The incoming POP server is pop.cox.net not mail.cox.net.

What error message are you receiving?  "the error message each time I open" doesn't tell us much.
