DVR6 Space Calcs

The space calculations on my DVR6 are frozen at 36% used - no matter how many recorded programs I add or delete, it does not change at all.   How can I force the unit to recalculate?   I was wondering if a reboot would do it, but then discovered I do not know how to do a clean restart on this device .... not obvious in the settings menus .... please advise.   Thanks!!

Usually disconnecting power for two minutes and powering back on sufficiently reset the box to resolve most issues.  If you continue to have issues it may be advisable to consider swapping the box. -Chris
