DVR Remote Inop
The remote control for the DVR is intermittent and seems to send "stray" commands when no one is touching it. does it need replacement?

Does removing one battery from the remote stop the "stray commands" ? Remote model number? DVR model number?

In addition to Domino's questions I'm curious to know if the box is in an entertainment cabinet with glass doors. If it is, it may be necessary to ensure the glass isn't pressing against buttons on the front of the box. (I know this sounds a bit silly, but I've seen it happen.) Let us know what happens when you remove the batteries from the remote.
