Duh...

When you say "safe" I think it also needs to be a place where those technical minds can feel they can meet other people of simular minds.

Another words, someone who posts a rant yelling and swearing shouldn't get anymore special treatment then someone who has Cisco certification. Just because you lack technical knowledge does not give you the right to be rude or mean. This also goes for people who have lots of technical knowledge. 

And if someone IS rude, I think we should be able to reply in kind. It's simple, treat others as you would want and expect to be treated. :-)
