Downgrade to Economy TV with Cablecard?

I currently have Advanced TV in Tucson. If I downgrade to Economy TV, will I still be able to use my cablecard and tuning adapter as I have been for the past year? I heard a rumor that Cox won't let you use a cablecard and tuning adapter if you get rid of Advanced TV. Any truth to this rumor?

A cable card and tuning adapter along with a compatible device can be used with any level of video service with Cox. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
