Digital mini box causes cox DVR to reboot hourly
Connected digital mini box to an analog tv through coax and it seems to work fine.
HOWEVER, about an hour later, my Cox HD DVR ( older model, not whole home) , rebooted. A little more than an hour later, the DvR rebooted again. There were 3 to 4 reboots that we saw with a little more than an hour between reboots.
i disconnected the digital mini box, and the DVR never rebooted again.
Do i need to return the mini box or dvr or ...?

You have the mini-box and the DVR connected to the same TV? If so, how do you have it all connected?

Good question
tge mini boc was on a different tv than the DVR in a defferent room.
Each room has its own line from the junction coming nto the house.
Each line has its own attenuator, done by cox when they set up my cable modem 15 years ago
There is also a cox digital phone on the system A far as i know, only the Dvr reboots

Thank you. The dvr died completely yesterday. Hard drive failure and did not recover from restart.
Got a new dvr, will try the mini box this weekend
