Did roanoke va get an upgrade last night?
i know there is suppose to be an upgrade sometime this month. anyways was playing black ops and my internet kept going down. was going to call in about it but figure they where upgrading stuff and i had to work on a painting anyways. did a speed test today and upload speed is still ** (cant stream on twitch past 1.5 upload) but i do got 50 up which i dont need download speed but i guess it helps some with my Direct tv box which has awesome on demand hehe.
question is when can i get ultimate internet in ronaoke va? love to be able to stream on twich in hd :)

The speed increases are taking effect today for Roanoke for each tier, the new speeds are posted on our site http://ww2.cox.com/residential/roanoke/internet/internet-packages.cox so Ultimate is now available in the area.
As far as gaming the upload speed would not be the main concern but the ping/latency times would be what you are looking for, did you get results either from the game or the speed tests for the ping times?

when i mean twitch it's a lot past gaming. i actually steam on twitch and i also upload a lot to yt. thats why upload speeds help me a lot as the old speeds it took me about 3 hours per 1080p video and can barely get a 480p stream looking okay with the old speeds. nice to know it hsould be here soon. think when i turned my cable box last month in the guy said they are only upgrading premier but the speeds will be better but still as there is no market here for ultimate. then i asked another guy that works for cox that it's coming. idk i'll call every month anyways to see if it's here lol. =p
