Dial tone but can't make or receive calls
Hello,
I'm experiencing the exact same thing this guy was:

what is the solution? I read through the thread. I can't get through on chat to ask customer support and i can't call. Is there a simple solution to this problem? Or does it require a tech to come out?

I think the problem was when the new modem was added to the users account it was mapped to the wrong area or "node". So calls were being sent to one area of town when their modem was in another. Did the problem start after swapping or getting a new phone modem? There was a secondary issue that when the old modem was removed off the account it reset the Voicemail system and PIN.

Actually i was able to get through on chat and it looks like they had to resend the signal.
There was really no reason it happened. One day to the next it just stopped working. But all is well now.

No problem. I was just trying to answer your question about what caused the OP of the thread you mentioned. But thats a pretty rare thing so it makes sense they just needed to reboot your phone modem. But keep a eye on it, reboots help sometimes fix symptoms even if the problem is still lingering in the background. Glad you got it up and going. Want to mark your post the answer then? I just like seeing the green resolved threads.
