Dell Laptop can't connect to cox internet using Zyxel router and Motorola Modem
My roommate's Dell laptop using Windows 7 gets the wireless signal, but there is no internet access. My laptop and another roommates laptop works just fine. Any help/ideas? Already did the usual modem reset and IP address reset.

Do you happen to know what wireless encryption type you're using?

The encryption type is AES

I'm going to guess you're referring to WPA2. Are you getting any errors when you enter the wireless key?

Yes WPA-2. No errors with the wireless key. It detects the network, but has limited or no internet connectivity,

One possible cause for that is incorrect key. I see you mentione that it detects the network however are you getting any error messages after you enter the wireless key? Also do you know what model Zyxel router this is you have? Many of those are actually DSL routers.
