Data plan
How come the data plan doesn't increase for each tier level? No reason for most to go beyond essential otherwise.

Those do not address why the data does not increase per tier level, if the data does not increase then the added speed is pretty much useless.

The data limit is the same across the broad for all of our data plans. You get 1 TB to use each month. Please check out the following link for more information. https://www.cox.com/residential/support/data-plan-and-usage.html?directhit=1&kw=data+usage
There are some Cox services that do not count towards your data usage as well. This is also listed on the link above.
