So, I was trying to use the rather-difficult-to-set-up TV Connect app, and I can't for some strange reason! It doesn't work at all, it won't even start! All it does is give me a weird error (I am using an ordinary Sprint iPhone 5 by the way) that says "unable to authenticate your iPhone/iTouch". I don't have any software issues, and what's this app's business with inspecting my devices software, huh? I have plenty of other apps (about 12) that work fine on my iPhone.

144 usually indicates that the iOS software installed has been altered or jailbroken in some fashion. Our licensing deal with content providers doesn't permit operation on such devices. You may need to check with your carrier's technical support if you're having problems verifying whether or not your devices is running authentic iOS software.
