Cox mini box remote
Installed the new mini box for digital TV. It came with a very cheap remote that you need to use. So even if you have a great remote that came with your TV, you can not use it. Is anyone else angry having to use this cheap cox remote when you pay big bucks for cox TV?

It's not Cox's remote. It's the remote provided by the box manufacturer. Feel free to attempt to program any other remote with the mini-box.

I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the remote that came with the box. You should be able to use a universal remote control that is better to your liking that you can program to use with your box.
