Contour channel Guide
The guide for channel 812 MPT2 does not reflect what is playing. NHK seems to be always playing on this channel but there is no description of the programs on the guide. What happened to the programs listed on the guide?

My Guide displays data for the shows airing on channel 812 (MPT-DT2), as does the TV Listings page found on www.cox.com/myconnection/watch/entertainment/tv-listings.cox. Are you missing Guide data for channel 812 on each of your cable receivers?

Yes, for example my guide data for 9:30 am Monday indicates travelscope but what is actually playing is NHK.

We've identified an issue affecting channels 812 and 816. It appears the Guide information on both channels does not accurately reflect the shows that are airing. We've reached out to WMPT and are working to get this corrected. Thanks for brining this to our attention!

On the MPT website, it doesn't list a channel number for Cox customers in northern Virginia. The channel number for MPT2 viewers in Maryland who are Fios customers has also recently changed. These two changes suggest to me that MPT has changed its arrangements with the cable companies and that perhaps Cox isn't carrying MPT2 any longer. Could that be the case? Does anyone out there know?

We've learned that WMPT is in the process of changing the programming on its digital subchannels. We hope to have more information soon.
