contour 2 rf extender
does anyone know of a way to use the contour 2 remote to control the cable box in a different room? Previously I used IR before the new remote/cable box but I am told that the new boxes dont support IR. Thanks

Are you trying to use the Contour 2 remote on another Contour 2 receiver or on a different box, like a mini box?
Contour 2 remotes do not work with other Cox receivers. If your remote is paired to the current Contour 2 receiver and you are trying to use it to control another Contour 2 receiver it can be paired to another box but then would need to be paired again when you take it back to its original location.
