Closed caption
I searched for closed caption and how to set up. (menu, settings, option, closed) That is not acceptable. What is the CC button for??? Your box has even stopped my TV remote from turning closed caption. What is the deal???
Please tell me how to set up the CC button.

To turn ON the CC, press the CC button on the remote. To turn OFF the CC, press the CC button again.
The reason your TV's CC won't work is not your cable box. It is that you have (apparently) used an HDMI cable to connect the box to your TV. The HDMI cable will not pass the station's CC data. To regain your TV's CC option, use component cables to connect to your cable box.
