Cisco 9865hdc networking

The Ethernet port on the Contour receivers are only officially enabled for one purpose that I know of, as a media server for devices that support DLNA/DTCP-IP. This was only tested with the Playstation 3, and only on the previous version of the Contour software, so I'm not 100% sure it still applies, but the instructions can be found in this previous forum post.

Thanks!  I can actually see the device in Win 7 libraries but NOT able to access them in Windows media player or any other application.  Any ideas?

Not that I know of. The "key," so to speak, is that the connecting device needs to support the exact security that the Trio/Contour software and the Cisco hardware is using, and I don't know how to enable that in any platform other than the one we tested on.
