What website do you use to log into email? Does webmail.cox.net work? I was able to log in right now.

Have you tried resetting your password? See here for instructions.

I am having the same issue, it appears to have to do with new cookies being received from the website. It doesn't matter how many time I click sign in with the correct information, the page just refreshes and it asks me again. I know the information isn't wrong as I have my browser save my login information.

I solved the issue for a moment by deleting all cookies for Cox's websites. After that I was able to log in and check my webmail exactly once before the issue came back, as I had received the cookies again upon signing in. Once again, if I try to sign in, the page just refreshes with nothing else changing.

It's also worth noting that if I delete the cookies again, it shows me old information when I log back in. For instance right now it says I have 2 new emails when my inbox and spam both have none. I already checked those two new emails a while ago but it still says I have them.

It's not us. Cox has messed something up on their end. Everything was working just fine less than a week ago. This issue has been happening for the last 2-3 days for me.

Yes to the first question, no to the second. I keep all cookies indefinitely and only delete them when there is a problem such as this. Again, this issue started a few days ago entirely at random. It's also worth mentioning that going to Support > Join the Discussion brings me to a blank page as well. I have to google these forums just to get here.

It's also worth mentioning that once I sign out after being able to sign in, the webmail information still shows up on the main page. For instance, even though I'm signed out, it still says "Webmail" and however many emails I had prior to checking it, despite being logged out. It seems that section of the page is not changing like it's supposed to.

Replying again to state that this is still a problem and occurs both on Google Chrome, Internet explorer, and Firefox as well. Hampton Roads area. This is definitely an issue on Cox's end.

Hello Jagick,

Which version or webmail are you signing into? Have you tried any other versions.

I'm not entirely sure what version I'm using or how to try any different versions as I have no options to choose any other versions. The pictures below will show my issue, if needed for clarity I can capture a quick video of how to recreate the issue as well.

First image: Not how I am still being prompted for login information, not being shown how many new messages I have, or being given relevant links to access account information despite being signed in.

Second image: I have cleared my cookies and everything now appears it be back to normal, but it doesn't stay that way for long. The moment I log out and log back in, the same thing that is seen in image one occurs.

This happens on every browser I've used and it is not something that I've done on my end. I haven't changed anything. It was working fine up until this weekend. Could it be a server issue? Is anyone else having this problem?

Whats the Icon in the top right of your browser that looks like a eye with a golden 2 next to it? Maybe some kind of script block, and maybe the block is hindering the page from working properly. Almost all Windows PC come with Internet Explorer, could you try signing in with that? Or if you want 3rd party, try with Chrome? Its free here and you don't have to change anything with your Firefox, since the two browsers will work side by side.

The eye is AVG Do Not Track. It is currently detecting Web Analytics and an Ad service on the page but neither of them are being blocked by it. I have used AVG Do Not Track for a couple years now and it has never interfered.

I have tried signing in with both Chrome and Internet Explorer was well, the problem persists in both of those browsers too.

Really? That is weird. Im just shooting in the dark, but maybe try disabling AVG to test? Or to isolate it to a PC issue or Cox issue, try signing in from your cell phone or a different PC? If that doesn't work, then their must be something wrong with how your account is configured/provisioned in Cox's system.

My gut is telling me its something to do with how the Cox page is built, with collaboration between multiple domains (cox.net,cox.com, ww2.cox.com, etc) and the message that your signed in isn't making all the way through the sites hierarchy.

I tried disabling both AVG itself and the AVG Do Not Track add-on, as well as Adblock Plus. This did not seem to change anything as the problem still occurred.

I cannot log in with a phone as I'm still using an old early 2000's flip phone with no internet capability. I also have no other PC I can use to log in either, yet. I'll try that when I finish building this new one I've been working on.

If it's what you think it might be, is there any way to have my account reconfigured or reprovisioned? Now that I think about it, a long time ago I had an issue close to this, except it didn't keep prompting me for my login info despite being signed in. A Cox rep on the phone did something and everything went back to normal, I can't for the life of me remember what was wrong or how it was fixed though.

Still having the similar issue. Still have no idea what caused it or how to fix it.
