I would recommend configuring your router to use the OpenDNS Home DNS servers.
It's free and you can customize your DNS settings to block sites. It also is great at blocking potentially harmful sites.

Sign up (for free) configure your router to provide the OpenDNS servers to your home computers via DHCP and you're set.
