Cable Modem Inability to Bond 4 Upstream Channels?

I have been battling an intermittent internet speed problem for the past month or so.  I've had 3 visits from Cox technicians so far. As incremental changes are made by the Cox technicians and myself, the speeds are getting faster and more consistent (according to a 5-minute periodic test I've been running from TestMy.net).  However, I am still stuck with the apparent inability to bond 4 upstream channels on my Cisco DPQ3212C cable modem.  Below are my statistics (including my MAC address so you can identify me).  Can you please tell me if there is anything that I can do from my end in order to get a better upstream connection?  Thanks.

I tried a modem reset however that didn't seem to work.  Has anybody tried swapping out the modem yet to see if that helps?

Hi Chris.

Yes; two days ago I swapped the DPQ3212 for another one ... specifically to try and rule out the modem as the source of the problem.  At this point it appears likely that the problem is outside of my house.  Any advice regarding the next steps to take?

Thanks

By chance did the technician that was out say anything about opening a ticket with our maintenance team?  The technicians that come to your home are responsible for escalating to our maintenance team any problems found at the tap servicing your residence or beyond.

If the technician is "aware of problems in the area" they should be escalating appropriately.  That is a function of the field service technicians and not our folks in the office.  I think what may be best for you at this point is to have another technician come out and do a follow up.  It appears the prior visits were all documented out as being an issue in the home.

I think that in each case, the "problems in the area" were problems that had *already* been (recently) resolved.  There always seems to be a 1-day or 2-day time lag between when I report the problems and when a technician actually arrives, so sometimes things change for the better before the technician arrives.

This most recent problem involving the persistent inability to bond 4 upstream channels is new, and I have never had this problem present when a technician was on my property.  As you recommend, I will make another call and schedule another visit by a technician and then we can escalate from there.

Thanks for your prompt response to all my questions!

I would agree that it's typically 24-48 hours for an issue to be addressed by a maintenance technician so that sounds about right.  Let us know if you have a problem getting another visit scheduled.
