Cable error code
My cable box is showing an "ecut" error on the box and on the TV screen. It's also affecting all the other boxes in my house. What is the code and how do I fix the problem? There is no access to any on-screen guides or the TV itself. Only the error code shows.

Error ECVT indicates Invalid common download CVT. You can reset the cable box by unplugging the power for 10 seconds and then plug it back in. If the issue continues, we will need to schedule a service appointment.
