C501 errors with Tivo and Cox ondemand``

Can someone let the techs working on the issues with Coxondemand via Tivo let them know I'm getting C501 Network errors and Tivo has said everything is correct on the Tivo side.

Same here, was working for me on Saturday night, but when I tried it on Sunday night it was down, C501 Error.

This issue happens most every weekend and clears up by Monday late morning. You would think since it is so predictable, it would be fairly easy to diagnosis.  Is someone not feeding the hamsters on the weekends???

Hi Andrew and Bryan,

Interesting that it seems to happen regularly on weekends. I'm glad you pointed this out! From everything we have been told, the C501 error is on the TiVo server side. Does running the TiVo Guided Setup at the time of the error clear the C501 code? I'm going to make sure our video team knows that there might be a pattern on weekends. In the meantime, even though it is frustrating, please continue to report the C501 error to TiVo. We appreciate your help!

Becky I just received a reply from Tivo support and they are saying the issues are most likely on the Cox side of things.  I'll make the same offer/suggestion I made tivo support with it seeming to only affect cox customers  cox needs to test fixes in wild if they can't reproduce the issue in the lab.

And it was down this Sunday Night as well, a regular weekend issue.  I also believe the C501 Error is on the TiVo server side.  But it is always possible that the TiVo server connection to Cox is down during these periods.

sometime, but the video I sent you via facebook is happening where when  I try to play a program it act's like it's playing, but a blacnk screen and quickly exits back to tivo central.
