Bandwidth Limits
It appears that Cox is limiting their bandwidth tighter than. I have noticed that I can no longer connect and use the same number of multiple devices by family members on my network as before. When recently required to upgrade modem, I was suspicious that cox was going to place tighter controls on level of usage. Of course the reasons provided with the modem upgrade was that it was an older model no longer being supported. Of course Cox will want me to pay more for this by upgrading service level from current costing me more $.

If you're talking about speed there are a few things that could be going on. It appears the last time you tested your speed it was faster than the advertised rate. Have you tried without the router to see if that could be having an impact on your experience?

Look online. There are numerous reports of Cox throttling some users. Even their "unlimited" is limited.

It's discussed here quite often: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/coxhsi are you talking about caps or speed wise? If it's speed wise, could be a number of factors. We don't have a working gulfcoast rep on the forms (this is all volunteer) but do have some Atlanta reps.
(Ty, Chris for the forms)

I would assume speed wise... My speed has sucked for the last few months... My uploads speeds are actually higher than my download speeds.... Terrible... Now disconnects have become a problem with me... I was advised to upgrade my modem by Cox... I did... Nothing new.. My older modem was getting better speeds than this one... Terrible... Has anyone tried LUS Fiber?
