3-way splitter for Internet Modem, Phone Modem, and TV

Please let me know if a 3-way unbalanced non-power passing splitter like the Extreme Broadband BDS103VF/ BDS103H or a Antronix appropriate? The splitter will connect to a phone modem, internet modem, and a long run to a TV.

I'm also open to other suggestions.

Ideally a 3-way splitter will provide 1x3.5db outputs and 2x7.0db outputs which represent the amount of signal loss on each.  Whether or not it'll work will really depend on how much signal strength currently exists at the location which you plan to install.  At the very least you can try it to see what happens.
