2 problems Wi-Fi keeps shutting off and unable to connect Mini-box

the Wi-Fi on the modem keeps disconnecting needing to re-power the entire box to get the Wi-Fi back on line. The Mini box that I received is connected but I believe the Line from the wall is not active

What model gateway do you have and how do you have it connected? Do you have a splitter between the mini box and gateway?

Also, are you self installing the internet and cable?

Hi Ray,

Prior to installing the mini box, was there a TV connected to this outlet? Were you able to watch channels from the TV Essential lineup?

When did the problem with the WiFi connection begin? It's possible the disconnects are caused by WiFi interference. Make sure the router is kept in an open area away from things like microwave ovens, baby monitors, cordless phones, etc.  It might also help to go into the router's management page and set the wireless channel to 1, 6, or 11.  That will particularly help if you have neighbors nearby that also have wireless routers.
