Why have we had so many outages in my area, within a few days?

I am just curious why we have been so many outages in my area, for TV, Internet and phone services. And how can I find out why. The customer service representatives, can not answer this question, because when it is an outage in an area, they do not give them any more information than if it was a scheduled outage or unscheduled outage, is there a way to email someone who would know. It never takes very long to get it back up and running again, usually within a couple of hours, but it would just be nice to know why we have had so many within less than a week.
