webmail again!

just when i think i've had every problem there is...here's a new one.  the other night, while deleting some old mail from the server via webmail, the screen suddenly "flipped out" and now all of my inbox displays at once making everything so tiny i cannot read it. ex. (actually, on  the full page it's smaller than this section.)

this is on a desktop/win7/chrome.  i tried using i.e. & it's actually so large there that i cannot view the whole preview pane. on my ipad mini (gen 1!) it's perfect. level 2 tech went thru settings with me.  yes, it's marked to display like the rest of my pages.  but it doesn't. other internet pages are fine. only mail. and i've already deleted cache & cookies so don't go there pls. i closed out, closed the page, started again.  no fix.  i even rebooted the computer. no fix. if it's chrome, why are my other pages not affected? 

any ideas?
