You should not need to click the spam button if the spam was never sent in the first place. Cox needs to filter these emails as spam automatically and delete them before they arrive. This is what a good spam filter that cox is not using should do for us.
Lisa says to click the spam button. That means clicking the little box next to that email. The bottom line here is that missing the exact placement of your pointer should do nothing. instead, cox opens your email which is the last thing you want to do. This is double jeopardy. A good spam filter learns what is spam and then automatically deletes spam for you. When I selected the option in my cox settings for cox to automatically delete spam, I should not need to click onto spam as you say.
I can prove that cox already knew it was spam. Cox will not allow me to forward the message because the message contains spam. If cox knew it was spam, then why did cox send it to me in the first place.
