I am in OK too, and also been having issues with packet loss for the last 6 months. I'm in a newly built neighborhood so the only company to have come and installed lines around is Cox. I have no alternative ISPs to choose from. They could probably fix this issue in literally a day. Have one of their engineers contact someone at AWS and do some testing to determine which node is responsible for the loss, and replace that hardware or reroute via a different node. It's super depressing. I just wasted money renting a brand new modem from them in hopes that my problems were due to using a Puma 6 chipset modem. That didn't change anything. The only reprieve I have gotten is from using VPN services such as Haste or Speedify. But I don't want to pay a monthly fee just to have my internet work properly. Since this issue has existed for 6 months it doesn't seem like they care to get this resolved.
they're pretty much playing a stare down with customers until we eventually get tired of posting about it until we just quit... or get new service
