While watching a movie on a premium channel or tubi app, suddenly pic to black for a few seconds and when it comes back on it changes the channel, what is causing it?

Picture goes black and then comes back on and channel changes on it's own.

Same thing is happening to me.  I was watching an on-demand dox on Showtime...screen went black...Showtime dox temporarily returned onscreen...screen went black again...and the channel changed to previous one I was watching.  It's either a switch-video channel or a Contour glitch.
