Screen Saver

I leave my TV on all night because I need the noise to sleep. I leave it on a music station all day to help block outside noise for my pets. In the billion years I've had Cox, the Screensaver has never come on. All of a sudden, it has started coming on and the only option is to change the length of time before it comes on. I googled it and people have been complaining about it for years. I have not made any changes to my account so why now all of a sudden??? I want it to go away.
