Does Cox Mini Box work on Smart TV with Roku built in?

Does Cox Mini Box work on Smart TV with Roku built in? When I hooked up the mini box, my Cox channels had no picture. Please help!

The Mini Box essentially only needs a monitor.  No picture?  Is there audio?

Does Roku TV recognize the Mini Box?  What are your HDMI options?

This shouldn't be difficult so unless the Mini Box hasn't finished booting/initializing, you may have a defective Mini Box.
