Commercials cut off and go to another one

Please stop dictating what commercials I see. On EVERY channel (this time Animal Planet) a commercial plays for a fraction of a second with about one word being said and it cuts to another commercial. That commercial often plays twice in the same break within one minute. I couldn’t give a sixth, 21st, third and 11th letters about those commercials and want to see the one that got cut off. Often, a commercial gets cut off and plays a local one on a NATIONAL channel. PLEASE STOP THIS!

Hello, Is this happening with all tvs in the home or just one? Also, please unplug the power from the cable box for 2 mins and let us know if that helps. Lastly, are the affected commercials louder than normal? -Allan, Cox Support Forums Moderator.

Every TV does this. Unplugging doesn’t help, and the commercials stay the same volume.

What you are experiencing is probably your local carrier inserting local ads and not paying much attention to the editing. So what happens is you get a slice of the national ad overlapped with the local ad. You can't fix it. Sorry.
