Cable box to HP monitor
I'm trying to hook up my basic cable mini box with my HP monitor with HDMI cable but not getting anything please help with

What model monitor? Is it HDCP compatible? Does the mini box work with a normal TV? What error or color screen does it give when using the monitor?

You may need to reboot the cable-box to negotiate with the monitor. What version of HDMI is the monitor?
