Why is my Panoramic Technicolor CGM4141 in bridge mode broadcasting hidden SSIDs still
So Technicolor CGM4141 is set to bridge mode with a more reliable router behind it. But when using a wifi signal analyzer the CGM4141 is STILL broadcasting hidden SSIDs.
It's clogging up useful channels in an area where it's already congested...plus it shouldn't be doing so.

in bridge mode you don't get wi-fi from pano unit, you're seeing ssid's from your own router.

Is the device with the analyzer logged onto your hidden network? If so, the analyzer probably retrieved the SSID from the OS of the device.
