You can set one of the following preferences for Spam emails: Mark as Spam and deliver to Inbox, Put in Spam folder, or Delete Spam without delivering. See the link below for further assistance.

Thanks for the link. Do you currently have a lot of old Spam messages in your spam folder? What is the oldest spam message that you have in your spam folder?

Thanks for your replies.
There are 179 unread spam messages in my spam folder.
The oldest unread spam message is dated October 21, 2021.
