I believe the same thing is what's happening to me. My signal strength is strong but when I try to go on the internet the pages won't load & they time out. Happens numerous times a week.

Hi Pam613, your signal levels look quite healthy. I am including a link that includes ways to improve your internet experience:

www.cox.com/.../ways-to-improve-your-internet-speed-experience.html

We would also recommend when performing speed tests, to do so on a hardwired connection as opposed to a wireless connection. In doing so, this helps us determine if the issue is with the modem or router. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

Kevin, I checked my speed tests three different times yesterday & they are 1/3 of what I should be getting.

I just took a look at your modem and can see that it's up and running with a healthy cable signal. Are you running these speed tests wirelessly? If so please try running a wired speed test and reach out here with the results. You'll need to connect an Ethernet cable from a port on the back of the modem/router to a PC/laptop, then disable the wireless network and enable the local area connection before running the speed test.

Stephanie, I know I have a healthy signal, but the pages time out sometimes when they're loading. The point of having a wireless computer or iPad is so you can move around the house with it without using a cable.
