New firmware for Arris SB8200 effected by Kr00k?

Is the Arris SB8200 effected by Kr00k? Our SB8200 is Hardware Version 6 and Software Version AB01.01.009.27_081619_183.0A.NSH. Is there new firmware to address Kr00k? The source of the bug lies in the Wi-Fi chips, but, it can be mitigated through software or firmware updates.

Hi Coxcommy. Kr00k only impacts wifi connections and wifi capable devices. The Arris SB8200 is a standard modem and therefore isn't affected. You may want to check with your router manufacturer regarding this as this device could be affected. Thanks, Lisa - Cox Support Forums Moderator.
