Modem Password?
I have an Arris CM8200A modem and previously I could access (read-only) the cable modem status and parameters at 192.168.100.1, Now I am prompted for a password to do this. I'm looking for the read-only password. Please advise.

Try " password " or last 8 digit of the serial number. remember the SN# doesn't, (or shouldn't) use the letter O, also it's case sensitive.

But I always recommend recycling that e-waste and sign up for equipment rental from Cox. Then use the Panoramic WiFi app for everything, and leave the security headaches to the pros.
