Cox does not have settings on their modems that prevent Apple devices from working. If you are experiencing issues with an Apple device, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
Ensure that your network and not someone else’s appears as the Network Name.
Move your modem or Wireless Access Point closer to the Apple device.
Use a Wi-Fi extender to increase the signal strength near the Apple device.
If you wish to change your WiFi modem settings, such as the Network Name (SSID) or Passphrase, you can do so through the WiFi modem web interface. For account-specific support, please email us at cox.help@cox.com. Thank you.
