I am having trouble connecting my Samsung TV vía wifi. Every other device works on my network except the TV. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

You wouldn't make that bet because there are no network settings, selections or options in the cable-box version of Contour.

yes there are network settings but not what's required to do what what the op needs.

OP wouldn't have used the Contour remote to configure WiFi for a TV because the cable-box version of Contour doesn't have network settings.  From what you've written, you have the Wireless 4K Contour Steam Player.  This is an entirely different platform...hence it's name.
