We have had a "temporary" line that is laying across a fairly busy road for around a month now and it has been replaced something like 3-4 times now because as cars run it over it continues to get destroyed. My question is how long am I expected to have to wait with super crappy and unreliable service until the company comes out and properly buries it? The last time it was replaced, it was already torn up again by the end of the same day; I called to have a technician come address it. They scheduled me 2 days out just to have the technician call me and complain that it wouldn't be until after 7 when he arrived (my appointment time was 5:30-6:30) and asked if he could come tomorrow. I agreed because the service was working for that time being but they never showed back up. Our service has gone out SO many times in the last month and nobody seems to really care enough to do anything to fix it that will last more than a day. I've had multiple technicians tell me the problem is that temporary line, that everything in my house and at the pedestal in my yard is perfectly fine as long as that line stays in good shape, so when are we going to get something done to prevent it from continuing to happen?
Meanwhile, I've had to spend tons of time, extra gas (I simply cannot work from home if I don't know when the next time my service will drop for days at a time so I have to commute every day), putting off plans, leaving work early, etc. for these appointments that people don't even show up to. To say this is frustrating is a huge understatement!
