Do I upgrade to the 1 gig or nah

The only reason I’m asking so the constant lag and outages and reset , I enjoy gaming but cox internet can’t really handle it anymore so idk if the 500mpbs with the unlimited or the 1 gig unlimited would help or not I just need a yes or no I don’t need a fake bot to upsell me , quantum fiber could be better

Hi there, fernando1110060. Speed and connectivity issues that occur on a lower speed tier will still be same even on a higher tier Internet connection. I did do an initial check on your modem, and it appears to be functioning normally. I do not see any packet loss and the modem is online with a good reading. Does this issue occur on a wireless connection only? So at this point if upgrading to a higher tier isn’t good enough then ima have to switch providers I’m sorry but yall can’t keep getting away with this even the mobile service is terrible I’m sorry but not gonna listen to cox anymore and switch over to quantum fiber yall lost a customer

If you aren't receiving speeds you expect from your current plan, you probably won't see any significant increase in speed from an upgrade, you'll just be paying more for it.
