Every day now and this is UNACCEPTABLE for what we pay in internet fees..
My internet completely drops sync between 11 am and 1 pm every day due to thermal expansion on the lines. My Nighthawk's downstream and upstream power levels are falling completely out of spec during peak heat. I need a line technician or a maintenance crew dispatched to check the street amplifier and the neighborhood tap during this specific midday window.
COX needs to get service techs out on the street to fix this NOW.

We have experienced daily outages with our internet for roughly an entire month. We work from home and this is costing us a lot of headache in a multitude of ways. How can this get resolved? How can we be compensated for inconsistent service?

Did you guys get this resolved? We have been experiencing this and it’s been a nightmare. The tech is currently here and saying COX is not in charge of updating the firmware on the Nighthawk, and that the packets and pings are normal. It’s a little odd that the lack of usable ISP happens during the hotter parts (10:30am-5? 6pm until the evening finally cools down) of the day, pointing to your issue like thermal expansion and external line issues. The tech is now installing a COX modem/router for diagnostics. The last month we’ve been experiencing loop of T3 Timeouts, T4 Timeouts, and Dynamic Range Window (DRW) violations, US/DS profile changes, and more recently some other issues with CMTS-MAC issues with showing all zeros/unable to communicate with COX. The tech said that all the lines look good, and the history of the neighborhood COX node shows only our house with this issue... The tech also said that he can’t see the T4 timeouts on his tablet for our issues and only we can or Netgear can access the history of errors… so, defeated, we have installed the COX router for a week as part of diagnostics. It is currently working, but we’ll see.
