I have seen people here and on other sites complain that the CoxWifi Hotspot can't be disabled. I have followed the recommended instructions supplied by Cox, but the router resets and the hotspot is still there. The last user who posted it received the same instructions from support and the discussion was closed. What gives?! I certainly understand that the hotspot is outside of my personal network and doesn't count toward my usage, however, this equipment is in my home and I have not given permission to Cox to utilize it nor the electricity that powers it! I would like a solution please.

Hello. It is possible that you could be seeing an additional Cox network in your wifi choices. Please make sure to have your devices unlearn the current network and see if that helps.
