Computer is getting high internet speeds but the ping is high as well
Is there a way to fix this, I have been having issues when I play any online game where I will have lag spikes with ping reaching more than 500ms. I am using a ethernet cable and I have no idea what caused this because it never happened before.

Try Pingplotter, WinMTR or running a tracert from CMD to the game server you are having problems with. That will tell where the latency is occurring. For instructions, what game is it?
