I recently upgraded to the new Panoramic PW8 Modem/Router gateway. I already had five panoramic pods, two of the new 2.0, and three of the old ones. I have tried so many things to get them connected to my new gateway, but it seems like the app just keeps crashing. On the wifi App, I click Accounts, then Activate Pods. From there, I choose which pod I have (doesn't matter which one I click on), and Get Started. Then the setup crashes, it says Let's Try That Again, Sorry we ran into a problem. If I click Try Again, the same things happens over and over again. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, downloading the app on other devices, rebooting the modem several times, even back to factory settings, making sure none of the pods are plugged in, making sure the pod is very close to the gateway. Nothing works. I cannot actually get the setup started. I had a technician come out, and they said they cannot work on or help with pods. The tech support chat has been pretty useless, as they just copy and paste the pod setup instructions over and over again, and don't listen to what I'm actually telling them.
Please help! I spent over $300 on these pods and they are worthless at the moment.

Pods, and most repeaters, are junk IMO. So is the Panoramic gateway. I would suggest returning the gateway and getting your own modem and router. A mesh system or a wired router with access points and a controller will get you better performance and more control. Sorry you spent money on a bad product. See here for compatible modems and suggest Newegg, Smallnetbuilder, and Dongknows for router reviews. I suggest the Arris S33/S34 for a modem.
