Can you pay a bill early? I don't see an option for that. Like, you can put in a custom amount if you owe $0....so I'm assuming that'll be applied for the next payment?

I don't know if Cox will do it, but most places will allow you to add to your Balance and then draw off that Balance as payment comes due.

Yes, it would work the way Glenee mentioned. Click on make a payment on www.cox.com/.../home.html and then click the box for "Pay a different amount" to make a one-time payment for a custom amount.

I know this post is from 4yrs. ago. Is there a limit to the custom amount that you can prepay to your account as a customer? If so, how much is the limit for this? In other words, if you wanted to pre-load your account for up to 1yr. of service, could this be possible?
